Ordered a 6×12 Enclosed Cargo Trailer on 9/11/2020 with a 6-8 week lead time. I ended up purchasing a 7×14 used Enclosed Cargo Trailer on 3/22/2021.
Communication seems to be a struggle, I understand Covid is unprecedented and has screwed up supply chains but updates need to be communicated to customers who are expecting to receive a product so they can make other arrangements if need be. I ended up spending over $600 renting trailers after I should have had mine.
Here are all the things I was told during the 29 weeks I was waiting.
Covid has delayed things
We went to pick it up and it didn’t have the D-Rings.
We went to pick it up and they shipped it to another dealer.
We’re going to switch to another manufacturer
The manufacturer won’t answer the phone
They’re out of aluminum
They’re out of your color
They’re out of the other color you picked.
We don’t know where its at.
It will be here Friday
It will be here next week

Finally after 6 months of waiting, Reid let me know they had a used one come in on trade that was a 7×14 in great shape that he would sell me at the same price of the 6×12 I had ordered. I rushed down the next day and picked it up and had a pleasant experience while there. I do appreciate them attempting to make it right and it is a nice trailer I ended up with.
