Pierced Frames On Ozark Deck-overs
Pierced frames are obtained by cutting a "C" Shape for the 3" Channel Crossmembers to slide through the 19 LB 12" I-Beam. Crossmembers are then placed every 16" through the I-Beam and welded together to create additional structural stability and durability. The I-Beam Frame runs the full length of the floor and can be seen on the deck of the trailer as pictured.
Using pierced frames lowers the overall deck height 5" compared to a stacked frame allowing for easier loading and off loading.
